Independent Singer-songwriter Sarah Nebel released her second full-length album 'Great White' on February 4th, 2008 in Norway. The songs vary from slow roots ballads to alternative pop/rock songs with a definitive twist. 'Great White' is a sublime follow up to her first full-length album, 'Time to Fly'(2004), as it exemplifies Nebel's unique and ever-evolving approach to song-writing. The intense and often provocative lyrics are coupled with thoughtful and exquisite musical arrangements that at times defy gravity. Great White, received outstanding reviews in all of Norway's largest newspapers - the critiques compared her songwriting with the likes of Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Sarah McLachlan and Tori Amos. Her song 'Jasmin' from 'Great White' was chosen to represent Norway on the 'Out of Norway' at the international industry meets Midem (Cannes) and and popKOMM (Berlin) in 2008. Sarah has long experience with live shows - both in the US and in Norway - and has also appeared in several Hollywood films, including Pulp Fiction, I'll Do Anything, Wild Palms and more. She works live with a 4 piece band or solo, accompanying herself on the piano. After spending a decade in Los Angeles working with music, theatre and film, she is now living in the remote countryside of Norway, writing music and doing theatre.
